My artistic interests began in my late teens with photography, in my 40s with landscape design, and in my 50s with painting. Now approaching 70, I feel like I have found my painting process and style, working daily to grow and improve. My outside inspirations is God's creation. My inward inspiration is the Spirit of God calling forth from me in expression. "Deep calls to deep!" (Psalm 42:7)
I became a Christian in my 20s and my faith is the most important aspect of my life. My life verse is Psalm 1.
I am an ordained elder with the National Association of Wesleyan Evangelicals and hold doctorates in Biblical Studies and Religious Philosophy. I currently spend time primarily on writing and painting.
I am a 69-year-old husband, father, and grandfather. My wife, Jan, and I live in The Dalles, Oregon, USA, with our Yorkie-poo, Princess. My life endeavors have included extended periods as a photographer, Christian minister, educator, horticulturist, landscape designer, author, and artist.
